Doing it right like Rick Ross. 2006.
“The rainy streets of the Danish capital, Copenhagen, comprised the surroundings from where RAINS was invented. In a combination of the modern city life with all its diversity and colorfulness and the need for practical outerwear, RAINS was established as a new interpretation of the traditional raincoat. Modern people’s need of combining style and function became the foundation. This opened a whole new world of perceiving rainy days as beautiful and inspiring. Originating from this, the mission of RAINS is to inspire and motivate to explore positive outdoor moments in your everyday life – an essential approach to outdoor life in a nation with 121 rainy days each year.” – http://www.rains.dk/

Mr. Lertwit has been making Mee Sua noodles the old school way for 46 years in Bangkok. Mee Sua means “longevity noodle” in the Chinese tradition and is believed to grant a long life to those who eat it. Mind-blowing process. Much love and care goes into the making of this humble & comforting food.
This video made the foodnerd in me extremely happy.
Stoked to be part of these videos on Restaurant Day, made by my friend Bruno Florin aka Narbu, a French photographer/videographer/art director based in Montreal. Restaurant Day is a unique ‘culinary carnival’ that takes place 4 times a year, in which people have the opportunity to open their dream pop-up restaurant, cafe, or bar for one day. What began in Helsinki four years ago, has since spread across the globe and become an international food event. Restaurant Day is a brilliant concept that feeds and facilitates a DIY creative food culture that is growing worldwide. This positive event gives everyone the chance to open their dream restaurant, cafe, or bar for a day. The initiative brings communities together, both locally and internationally, around food!
